Highlights: Sarah and Matthew dedicated significant time and effort to find the perfect venue for their wedding, and after extensive research, they discovered a location that fulfilled every item on their list.

The Hempstead House at Sands Point Preserve, built in 1912 for Howard Gould, is a breathtaking Gold Coast estate steeped in history. The mansion boasts an impressive Great Hall with a soaring vaulted ceiling and a grand fireplace, an ornate library, and a ballroom adorned with a stone fountain at its center. Outside, expansive gardens and terraces provide panoramic views of Long Island Sound. Notably, the estate has served as a filming location for iconic films such as The Godfather, Scent of a Woman, Malcolm X, and Great Expectations.

For the occasion, lush greenery and white florals with subtle pops of blue were carefully arranged to enhance the grandeur of the estate's stone architecture. Crystal chandeliers and blue toile fabrics were added to perfectly complement the mansion’s refined interiors, creating a timeless, elegant ambiance.
